Here are some top tips from PayByPhone, the city’s mobile parking provider, to make sure the event’s a perfect 10:

1. Arrive early! Give yourself plenty of time to get there and to park. Arrange to meet friends early so you can avoid any traffic congestion, arrive chilled and ready to enjoy the music, roller skating, beach volleyball and food.

2. Plan your route. Know what your journey looks like - what route you’re going to take, and what you’re going to do once you get there.

3. Share the journey. Travel with friends so there’s only one car to park.

4. Check where you park. Always make sure that you have entered your license plate number correctly and chosen the right location number when you park so you can avoid getting a parking ticket.
