VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – September 21st, 2020 – Trinity Western University is introducing a new contactless way to pay for parking at over 1500 spaces across campus.
Drivers parking at the university can now utilize the PayByPhone mobile app to pay for one-time use parking.
“We are excited to introduce the PayByPhone App to offer a contactless payment option for those attending TWU this fall,” said Derek Adams, TWU Security & Parking Manager. “Not only will this provide a safe and secure payment option for drivers, but it will also enhance safety measures for those returning to campus.”
Once the PayByPhone app is launched, students, faculty and visitors will have the ability to enter their parking location, length of stay and pay, contact-free. When the parking session expires, the app will send the user a text message prompting them to extend their parking session remotely, saving them the need of having to return to their car to feed the meter.
“It is our privilege to provide smart and convenient parking experiences to nearly 30 higher learning campuses across North America,” said Roamy Valera, PayByPhone CEO. “Students, faculty, staff and visitors of Trinity Westerm University are now able to have a safer parking experience with the PayByPhone app.”
PayByPhone is one of the fastest growing mobile payment companies in the world, serving contactless parking to over 35 million registered users, across 14 countries worldwide.
