VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – November 20 2020 – Red River College is introducing a new way to pay for parking at over 200 spaces across five campus parking locations.
Red River College’s parking customers will now be able to utilize the PayByPhone mobile app to pay for one-time parking use.
Red River College is Manitoba’s largest institute of applied learning and research, hosting over 22,000 students annually, both on their campus, and now virtually. Once the PayByPhone mobile app is launched, students, faculty and visitors will have the ability to enter their parking location, length of stay and pay, contact-free. When the parking session expires, the app will send the user a text message prompting them to extend their parking session remotely, saving them the need of having to return to their car to feed the meter.
“We are excited to be bringing a contactless parking experience to the Red River College campus, as it will be joining our growing community of Canadaian college campuses, in the offering of a safe and secure payment option for students, faculty and campus visitors.” said Roamy Valera, PayByPhone CEO
PayByPhone is one of the fastest growing mobile payment companies in the world, serving contactless parking to over 35 million registered users, across 14 countries worldwide.
