VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – January 06, 2021 – Portland State University is introducing a new way to pay for parking at over 3000 spaces across campus.
Portland State’s parking customers can now utilize the PayByPhone mobile app to pay for one-time parking use.
“We are excited to introduce the PayByPhone App as an additional payment method for our drivers,” said Ian Stude, Director Of Transportation, Portland State University, “as it will assist us in providing a safe and secure payment option for individuals parking on campus.”
Once the PayByPhone app is launched, students, faculty and visitors will have the ability to enter their parking location, length of stay and pay, contact-free. When the parking session expires, the app will send the user a text message prompting them to extend their parking session remotely, saving them the need of having to return to their car to feed the meter.
“We are excited to introduce PayByPhone to yet another North American university campus this fall, as we continue to expand our offering of contactless parking.” said Roamy Valera, PayByPhone CEO.
PayByPhone is one of the fastest growing mobile payment companies in the world, serving contactless parking to over 35 million registered users, across 14 countries worldwide.
