VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - August 28th, 2020 – PayByPhone, a global leader in contactless parking payment solutions, has partnered with United Public Safety and the Borough of Gettysburg, to provide contactless, simple parking experiences for residents and visitors.
The Borough of Gettysburg boasts a vitality and historic downtown seen in few communities of its size. Specialty shops, coffee shops, taverns, art galleries, athletic facilities, non-profit organizations, history centers, museums, theatres, historic churches and much more offer attractions for many ages and interests.
With the launch of the PayByPhone app, visitors and residents of the borough now have access to one simple platform for contactless parking. Drivers can enter the parking space location, length of parking, payment and parking session extensions all through PayByPhone’s app, website or the service number displayed on parking lot signs. The app even texts users when their parking session has expired.
“PayByPhone provides simple parking solutions in over 70 American cities,” said Roamy Valera, PayByPhone CEO. “It is our privilege to help the Borough of Gettysburg provide improved, hassle-free parking experiences to visitors and residents.”
“We are excited to welcome our latest integration partner, PaybyPhone, to our family of best in class integration partners,” said Joan Young, President United Public Safety. It is immensely exciting to see this integration further expand and improve the payment options offered by one of our longest standing client-partners in Gettysburg, PA. We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship in Gettysburg and beyond.”
Pay In Advance:
The Borough of Gettysburg will offer a prepay option that is available at 5 locations:
- Borough Lot

- Short- and Long-Term streets
With Prepay on the PayByPhone app, drivers will be able to come in early (7:30 to 8:00 am for Borough Lot, between 6 and 8 am for the 4 other locations) and pay in advance for their parking session.
