After a successful trial, the Miami Parking Authority (MPA) and Verrus Mobile Technologies are pleased to announce the official launch of Verrus pay by phone parking at all on-street City of Miami meters and many MPA parking lots.

This means that Miami now joins more than 90 cities and towns around the world currently offering the Verrus pay by phone service on their parking meters. Drivers in Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, Vancouver, London and other cities have realized that paying for parking by phone is the easiest, fastest, and most convenient way to pay.

PAY BY PHONE AVAILABILITY
Drivers can pay for their parking by phone at any of the approximately 8,000 City of Miami regulated street spaces and at more than 20 City parking lots around town once they sign up with a FREE Verrus account. This same account can then be used anywhere around the world Verrus is offered.

MPA’s goal of introducing such a service was to offer an easier and better way for drivers to pay for their parking, especially in conditions where paying from the car is a better option than walking all the way to the meter or pay-and-display machine and standing out in front of it while searching for change or a credit card.

NOW OFFERING BUSINESS ACCOUNTS

With the success of the trial, MPA and Verrus are announcing pay by phone accounts for businesses, allowing an organization with a fleet of vehicles or group of employees on the go to bill their parking to a central pay by phone account.
