The new account from Verrus is FREE pay by phone account that allows multiple users and vehicles to park under one central Verrus account associated with one credit card.

The account administrator sets up a new account on www.paybyphone.com Once the company cars are registered, employees can start using the central account.

The employee simply park, call into the Verrus number listed on the pay by phone sign or meter decal, enter the Verrus location number also on the signage, and enter the total time to park.

Then with approximately 5 minutes left in the parking session, the Verrus system will automatically send a text message to the user reminding him that time is about to expire.

From here, the user can call back into the system to extend his parking time - if not violating any city bylaws - or return to his car.

Every Verrus business account should have a dedicated account administrator assigned to create, edit, and manage the pay by phone account. Once this is decided, the following information needs to be gathered by this person before they set up the Verrus business account at the Verrus Web site:

First name, last name, email address, and mobile phone number per employee to include on account.
List of vehicle license plates to be included on this account.
Credit card number and expiry date to be used for all parking transaction billing on this business account.

Seamless Usage

For Verrus users already with a personal account, the system will automatically detect that the user belongs to two accounts and will provide the option to choose which account to charge that current parking session to.

Currently on-street City meters and Impark parking lots around Winnipeg offer the pay by phone parking service. Globally, a single Verrus account - whether an individual or a business account - can be used in over 90 cities and town in North America and Europe.
