Effective immediately Verrus PayByPhone parking is available at the over 1,200 parking spaces operated by LEXPARK. The PayByPhone service eliminates carrying around coins for the parking meter. When paying by phone, motorists may also select the option to receive a text message reminder a few minutes before their time expires, they can then call back in and add more time to their parking session if required, greatly reducing the chance of a parking violation.
“Of all the customer service enhancements we have implemented since July 2008, this one is defiantly the most forward thinking.” said Gary Means, Executive Director, Lexington & Fayette County Parking Authority
To sign up for a free PayByPhone account, drivers can register their cell phone number by visiting paybyphone.com or by calling 1-888-909- PARK (7275) when parking. An optional email receipt is available for every transaction and a history of transactions is downloadable online at paybyphone.com. There is a 35 cent convenience fee when paying by phone.
