Greenwich Rolls Out PayByPhone Parking
Greenwich CT - Drivers can now skip the meter and pay their daily parking fee by phone. PayByPhone is available at the Town Hall, Soundview Drive, Horseneck, and Island Beach commuter parking lots. Smartphone users can sign-up and pay with the new Mobile Web site, m.paybyphone.com. There's also a toll free option, call 1-866-234-7575 (PARK) and follow the prompts.
"I’m pleased to announce the implementation of the PayByPhone parking service,” said Director of Greenwich Parking Services, Allen Cory. "Commuters and users of the parking pay stations in the Island Beach, Horseneck, Soundview and Town Hall parking lots can use their cell phone when paying for a space or adding time remotely when unable to physically pay at the parking pay station.”
When paying by phone, drivers may also opt to receive a text message reminder a few minutes before their time expires. They can then add more time to their parking session if required, greatly reducing the chance of a parking violation.
